Scrum Master — Oracle Area

Role overview: As Scrum Master for two squads in the Oracle Area you enable teams to work effectively, autonomously and in a psychologically safe environment. You coach teams and individuals, support the Agile process, remove obstacles, strengthen collaboration and help squads continuously deliver value. You are a key partner for Product Owners, Tech Leads, Solution Architects and Area leadership, and maintain relationships with primary stakeholders.

What you’ll do

• Create effective team structures: Apply the principle “culture follows structure” to enable teams to work independently, with clarity and the resources needed to meet objectives.
• Facilitate Agile rituals: Guide teams in daily scrums, planning, refinement and retrospectives, ensuring the right methods are used for the situation.
• Measure and grow team maturity: Monitor squad maturity, clarify next-level expectations and support teams in progressing toward higher performance and self-organization.
• Remove impediments: Identify obstacles across the organization, bring them up for resolution and help teams remove issues independently where possible.
• Align priorities: Ensure priorities are understood and adopted across organizational layers so teams maintain focus on what matters.
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and guide teams in optimising processes, workflow and quality mindset.

Coaching, training & knowledge sharing

• Provide coaching on Agile, collaboration, communication and problem solving.
• Transfer knowledge and support other Scrum Masters and coaches to strengthen expertise within the Area.

Your profile

• At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a complex, multi-team IT environment.
• Skilled in Agile/Scrum, Kanban and continuous improvement.
• Strong coaching mindset and ability to facilitate team growth and maturity.
• Able to simplify complexity, create structure and guide teams through change.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (engineers, Product Owners, leadership).
• Comfortable addressing conflict and guiding difficult conversations.
• Understanding of the regulatory and security context in banking is a plus.
