Job Title

GenAI Engineer

Role overview

As a GenAI Engineer you will shape next-generation customer-facing GenAI experiences. You will combine hands-on expertise in Power Platform and Copilot Studio with technical leadership and architectural thinking to design, build, and continuously improve GenAI-driven agents while ensuring enterprise-grade quality, security and ALM discipline.

What you’ll do

  • Provide technical direction for GenAI use cases, including grounding, orchestrations, safety configurations, and prompt design patterns.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in prompt engineering, prompting techniques, architecture, integration patterns, solution design and RAG systems.
  • Guide and mentor other Agent Makers, supporting complex builds, reviews and hands‑on problem solving.
  • Define and implement ALM strategy for Genesys AI Studio and AI assistants to ensure reliability and repeatability across environments.
  • Own AI governance and testing frameworks, including regression testing, LLM-as-a-judge and end-to-end testing.
  • Collaborate closely with dependent teams to align on designs, requirements and integration needs.
  • Represent the team in stakeholder discussions, translate technical insights into business cases and collaborate with end users.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Platform and Genesys Cloud API
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js) or C#
  • Familiarity with network and security concepts: virtual networks, private endpoints, firewalls, identity and access management, API security and secrets management

Your profile

  • Education: Relevant HBO or university degree
  • Experience: 6+ years in Data Engineering, Data Science or Software Engineering, with at least 2 years working in Generative AI
  • Proven experience building or integrating conversational AI or agent-based automation
  • Hands-on expertise building AI assistants: generative orchestration, function calling, prompt engineering and guardrails, connector/API integrations
  • Able to coach peers, challenge designs and elevate team-level quality
  • Agile mindset, proactive problem-solver and excellent communicator
  • Passionate about leveraging GenAI to create intelligent, customer‑centric solutions and innovative at heart
  • Strong understanding of AI governance and testing frameworks (regression testing, LLM-as-a-judge, E2E testing)
  • Language: English (mandatory)
