STMD Support
Turn your talent for organisation into meaningful impact. Support sanctions screening models that help protect Rabobank, its customers and society by bringing people, priorities and information together.
The role
As part of Sanctions Tech Model Development (STMD), you bring structure and momentum to the work behind reliable global sanctions screening. You connect the team with stakeholders across and beyond the Area Global Sanctions AB&C, within Tribe Financial Economic Crime (FEC).
You coordinate reviews, validations and audits, support findings management and help move smaller projects forward. By keeping ownership, deadlines and dependencies clear, you enable colleagues to focus on their expertise. You anticipate support needs, check deliverables against agreed standards and make sure the right information reaches the right people.
This is a hands-on role combining coordination, careful administration and clear communication. You will also have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of sanctions screening and the model lifecycle.
What you will do
Coordinate periodic reviews, model validations and audits: Clarify and manage dependencies, owners and deadlines; facilitate meetings and track follow-up actions; and consolidate stakeholder input into consistent, complete documentation.
Support findings management: Maintain an overview of remediation actions, dependencies, owners and due dates; follow up with stakeholders; flag potential delays; and check stakeholder input for consistency and completeness to prepare reliable progress reports and supporting documentation.
Support smaller projects and ad-hoc topics: Organise activities around clear priorities, dependencies, ownership and deadlines; align stakeholders; facilitate meetings and follow up on actions; and prepare concise updates and professional presentations that clarify decisions and next steps.
What you bring
Academic working and thinking level, with a BSc or MSc degree.
The ability to see the bigger picture, maintain an overview of a broad domain and understand how decisions affect related activities.
A hands-on approach and willingness to explore complex analysis and implementation questions to understand what support is needed.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage senior management, business experts, developers and other team members.
Excellent writing skills, including the ability to document approaches, test results and conclusions with clear arguments and supporting evidence suitable for Compliance, Audit and other third-party review.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset: you take ownership, anticipate support needs and follow through on commitments.
Clear communication and documentation skills: you turn stakeholder input into accurate, audience-focused documents and concise updates.
Strong coordination and facilitation skills: you organise activities and meetings, track priorities and follow up on decisions and actions.
Proactive stakeholder management skills: you build productive relationships, understand information needs, align expectations and raise risks, delays or gaps when action or a decision is needed.
