For Rabobank Utrecht, we are looking for a FEC W&R Strategic Project Manager.

Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Wholesale & Rural (W&R) is responsible for the operational management of FEC within the Global Regions where Rabobank is active, including Europe, North America, South America, Australia & New Zealand and Asia. With approx. 700 FTE across the five regions, effective change management is a critical component to the success of our teams. This requires central oversight and coordination in order to maintain an effective and efficient FEC workforce.
As a FEC W&R Strategic Project Manager, you take the lead in delivering strategic, cross-regional projects or initiatives that support and strengthen the FEC Operations function across five geographical regions within the FEC W&R domain. This role requires strong change management, project management, structured execution, and the ability to translate strategic goals into tangible execution plans and outcomes.
You will be responsible for coordinating and managing complex initiatives that align with the global FEC strategy, ensuring that regional operational needs are met while maintaining consistency and compliance across the board. Your ability to manage stakeholders, drive collaboration, and maintain oversight across multiple workstreams will be key to your success.
Practical Examples
You collaborate with Global FEC departments to ensure regional requirements are clearly represented and reflected in global initiatives, performing impact assessments to support effective implementation planning and execution;
You own the execution of strategic projects/initiatives across Regions and FEC Domains;
You align with governance structures to achieve buy in, support and alignment with various domains within and outside FEC;
You constantly seek opportunities to improve the teams position by enhancing processes, ways of working and measures to execute strategic change in a complex international stakeholder environment.

Take ownership of selected initiatives/projects. From the early requirements phase through to operationalization of solutions;
Build and maintaining strong connections and working relationships in W&R Regions, FEC Domains, Global Compliance and W&R Business domain;
Optimize the value proposition of the FEC W&R Strategic Projects & Governance team through continuous improvement and seeking opportunities to collaborate, innovate and simplify.

You and your talent
Stakeholder management, collaboration and a result-driven mind set are essential for the role of FEC W&R Strategic Project Manager. In this role you make the right connections to deliver strategic initiatives to our Regional FEC teams. This is how you make a difference to the FEC W&R community.
Academic education/ level of thinking and working with at least 8 years experience within project & change management, preferably within FEC related projects;
International experience within Wholesale & Rural, preferably in the FEC domain;
Strong and informal leadership style focused on relationship management, motivation, facilitation, and reliability;
Experience in working in a complex, global stakeholder field and ability to function amidst of organizational sensitivities;
A critical mind-set with a pro-active hands-on approach and can-do attitude;
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the flexibility to adapt to all levels within the organization;
Experience with Lean and Agile way or working;
Proficiency in English (oral and written). Good knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
