Senior Mendix Developer (L2/L3 Certified)
Location: Utrecht (hybrid)
About the role
As a Senior Mendix Developer, you will work in a user interface squad building Mendix front ends for employee IAM processes. You will turn functional requirements into technical solutions, contribute to security and compliance requirements, and help resolve production incidents as part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team.
What you’ll do
Design, build, model and document Mendix solutions.
Contribute to solution designs and API integrations.
Coach junior and medior developers and help establish and maintain high coding standards.
Contribute to software lifecycle management and vulnerability management.
Improve how the squad works and help resolve impediments.
Clarify and challenge proposed requirements, offering your own solutions where appropriate.
Help users and team members handle production incidents.
Work with the product owner and squad members on the squad roadmap.
Collaborate with other Mendix teams and contribute to other tasks as needed.
What you’ll bring
Mendix Advanced (L2) or Expert (L3) certification.
At least five years of Mendix development experience.
Experience creating solution designs, modelling and documenting solutions, and building API integrations.
Experience coaching developers and setting and enforcing coding standards.
Experience with software lifecycle management, vulnerability management and Agile/Scrum.
Fluency in English and Dutch.
A proactive, communicative approach and the ability to find information and work effectively in a complex organisation.
Preferred experience
Experience with other programming languages.
Knowledge of test automation, Azure DevOps and Entra.

- The candidate must speak English and Dutch
- The candidate must be Mendix Certified L2 Advanced or L3 Expert
- The candidate must have at least five years of Mendix development experience
- The candidate must have worked on creating solution designs
- The candidate must have experience modelling and documenting solutions
- The candidate must have experience building API integrations
- The candidate must have experience coaching junior and medior developers
- The candidate must have experience setting and enforcing high coding standards
- The candidate must have experience with software LCM and vulnerability management
- The candidate must have experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- The candidate must be available throughout the entire duration of the assignment
- The candidate must hold a valid passport or ID card
- The candidate may start only after successfully completing the pre-employment screening
- Candidates may not be offered via a midlance construction
Gunningscriteria
- Knowledge of and experience with other programming languages is very appreciated
