Position

Title: Intermediate/Senior DevSecOps

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands

What you’ll do

  • Support internal application teams across a wide range of cryptography use cases.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the key management application, enabling automation and lifecycle management of cryptographic keys.
  • Participate in lifecycle management of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and associated cryptographic applications.
  • Maintain and operate HSM infrastructure, both cloud based and on premises, in accordance with security and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to area goals, and support evolving business and security needs.
  • Engage with external vendors, managing communication and maintenance activities.

Technical skills

  • Foundational knowledge of cryptography and experience working with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
  • Experience with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong DevOps understanding, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
  • Hands-on responsibility for day-to-day HSM operations, including management of tooling, network configurations, monitoring, and system health.

General skills

  • Willing and able to proactively take ownership.
  • Works in a structured and disciplined manner, following strict protocols while also defining new procedures for sensitive operations.
  • Maintains a strong security-first mindset, continually acting to keep the organization secure.
  • Comfortable operating within an enterprise environment.
