DevOps Specialist

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands

Job Summary

You will join a team that delivers Service Management APIs as part of an IT Service Automation Platform. You will create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage Azure infrastructure, and create and secure cloud resources to improve platform efficiency, scalability and performance. Experience with CI/CD methodology, Azure DevOps pipelines, API development and ITIL-aligned service management is important. The role requires strong problem solving, a customer-centric approach and collaborative work across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing and deployment processes.
  • Write deployment templates for Azure resources (ARM/Bicep).
  • Ensure resources comply with the bank’s security standards.
  • Contribute to Service Management API development.
  • Integrate tests into deployment pipelines in collaboration with QA.
  • Ensure APIs are secure, scalable and well-documented.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs with systems and applications.
  • Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Perform operational shift duties and resolve incidents to ensure continuous service availability.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure DevOps deployment pipelines (YAML) and infrastructure-as-code (ARM or Bicep).
  • Expertise in Azure platforms and services such as API Management, Container Apps, App Configuration or Azure Functions.
  • Technical knowledge of Azure networking components: VNETs, subnets and private endpoints.
  • Strong knowledge of API development, RESTful services and integration patterns.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C# or JavaScript.
  • Proven experience with Service Management principles and practices (ITIL).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Languages: English and Dutch (mandatory)

QA Engineer – ITSM API Platform

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands

Job Summary

You will ensure the quality, reliability and performance of Service Management APIs within the IT Service Automation Platform. You will design and implement robust testing strategies, drive automation, and work closely with developers, product owner and solution architect to continuously improve quality across the platform. Strong API testing expertise and a solid understanding of ITIL-aligned service management are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive test strategies (functional, integration, regression, performance) for Service Management APIs.
  • Build and maintain automated test frameworks for API validation and integration scenarios.
  • Validate API functionality, data integrity, security and compliance requirements.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is built into API implementations.
  • Contribute to test data management and environment setup for reliable, repeatable testing.
  • Ensure API documentation aligns with implemented functionality and test coverage.
  • Monitor API performance and reliability; support root cause analysis.
  • Support incident management by troubleshooting issues and validating fixes in production-like environments.
  • Communicate quality insights, risks and test results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in API testing, including RESTful services and integration validation.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools and test automation frameworks.
  • Experience integrating and running tests with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, YAML).
  • Familiarity with Azure services such as API Management, Functions or Container Apps is a plus.
  • Proficiency in programming languages is a plus (Python, C# or JavaScript).
  • Solid knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change and release management).
  • Understanding of API security, performance testing and monitoring practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quality-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a cross-functional team.
